Associate degree required. Bachelors degree preferred.
Two (2) to three (3) years supervisory experience required in a service oriented department, preferably within the healthcare industry, Environmental Services or equivalent educational background of a bachelors degree that compensates for work experience. Demonstrated success in managing a diverse workforce within a fast paced customer service environment. Knowledge of clinical department operations, Perioperative services, and/or performance improvement and project management highly desired.
ASHES certification, Clinical Engineering certification or related Environmental Service certification preferred.
Demonstrates effective computer skills including proficiency for use of software programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, internet and email systems. Must possess highly effective written and oral communication skills in addition to good interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff. Possess the ability to train, coach and develop personnel. Ability to effectively and independently manage multiple priorities along with assigned projects and initiatives
Need to be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
