The NEMG Network Development Specialist is responsible for improving and increasing the awareness of our hospital services with health care professionals, hospitals and other organizations or individuals that have direct input on referral of patients. Effectively develop and maintain relationships within the physician community to build the referral base for NEMG. Provide NEMG leadership with referral data to support strategic initiatives and identify opportunities and threats posed by competitive forces in the hospital's market area.
Bachelor's Degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business or marketing required.
Minimum 5 years experience in an ambulatory setting or equivalent. Experience in medical sales, process management, leadership, marketing and referral source generation, preferred. Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications required.
Valid CT Drivers License
Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop strong relationships with physicians and other clinicians.
MMR is required. Varivax (chicken pox vaccine) or evidence of prior chicken pox is required. Hepatitis B (or signed declination) is required for those with potential exposure to blood/body fluids. Tdap and influenza vaccination are strongly encouraged.
