Responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients (inpatient and/or outpatient) with speech, language, communicative, or swallowing disorders in a variety of patient care areas. Performs other clinical, teaching, and administrative duties as may be required.
Graduate of a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Completion of Certificate of Clinical Competence in
Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
One (1) to two (2) years as a clinical speech language pathologist in a large medical center based practice preferred ,
but not required. Experience working with children. Clinical experience with a variety of diagnoses to include
developmental deficits, neurological disorders, genetic disorders and trauma.
Excellent interpersonal, clinical, and organizational skills., Valid CT License or temporary permit required.
CT Speech and Language Pathologist Licensure or license eligible required.
